Safah Shaikh has joined Lockdown Medical as a Medical Design Engineer. Safah has experience working on the product development cycle of implantable devices including research, prototyping and testing. Safah will be utilising her knowledge of the product development process to work on new product introduction and testing of devices to bring new product to market.
Safah has also recently completed her MSc at Aston University in Mechanical Engineering where her research was focussed on the design of novel upper extremity orthopedic fixation devices, specifically for the shoulder joint. Safah will also be utilising her MSc research and design skills whilst working on the new product development at Lockdown Medical.
